Interlock Switches

​JM Engineering carries the Schmersal line of tamper resistant interlock switches. Limit switches and proximity switches can be easily defeated and should never be used on a guard at any time.

These switches use a high strength stainless steel actuator key that can have 4 different entry points making installation much easier than other switches. These keys can be padlocked for easy lockout / tagout

Watertight corrosion resistant housing contains positive break normally closed contacts.

The basic interlock switch is pictured above, but other models are available that can remain locked until a signal is sent to it. If you have any questions abut what your application requires, please contact JM Engineering.
